Funded Consulting: INQA Coaching

The BMAS-funded advisory programme for good work in the digital transformation – participatory, practical and 80% subsidised.

What is INQA Coaching?

INQA Coaching is a funding programme run by the New Quality of Work Initiative (INQA), financed by the ESF Plus and the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS). It helps small and medium-sized enterprises shape change – particularly around digitalisation and AI – in a way that improves processes and brings employees along. Our consultants Ulrich Reuther and Wolfram Löbnitz are both authorised INQA coaches and guide you through the process.

Three steps to results

Talk to us first about what you have in mind. If it is a good fit, the initial consultation with the regional INQA advisory office follows – it makes the binding decision on eligibility. The official programme then runs like this:

1 · Initial consultation (free of charge)

A regional INQA advisory office (IBS) checks your eligibility for funding and issues the INQA Coaching voucher.

2 · Coaching within your organisation

Up to 7 months, a maximum of 12 consulting days – agile, in iterations, together with your employees. The result: a binding operational action plan.

3 · Closing review

Three to six months after the coaching, you evaluate the results together with the advisory office.

What 80% funding means

  • 80% subsidy, only a 20% own contribution
  • max. €1,200 net per consulting day
  • up to 12 consulting days over up to 7 months

Who is eligible for funding?

  • SMEs with fewer than 250 employees
  • at least one full-time position subject to social insurance contributions
  • at least 2 years in business
  • registered office and place of work in Germany

Two things up front

We are clear about two things from the outset: first, you pay upfront – reimbursement follows once the coaching has been carried out and the application submitted. Second, binding eligibility for funding is assessed by the INQA advisory office, not the coach. That consultation is free of charge. Your first step, however, is a conversation with us: we clarify your project, prepare you for the advisory office and guide you through the application.

And if INQA isn’t the right fit?

No problem: not every organisation meets the funding criteria – and not every need calls for a funding programme. For these cases, we offer our freely bookable services. To learn how INQA Coaching differs from BAFA funding, read our blog.
