The INQA Coaching funding programme enters 2026 and 2027 with a new guideline. All coaches had to be re-authorised, and the funding conditions remain attractive. What this means for your business – and how to recognise an authorised coach.
What is new in 2026
On 12 June 2026 the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS) issued a new funding guideline for INQA Coaching (published in the Federal Gazette on 22 June 2026). The programme therefore continues until the end of 2027 – financed by the BMAS and the European Union through the European Social Fund Plus (ESF Plus).
For coaches, 2026 was a year of scrutiny: all INQA coaches had to go through a new authorisation. It assessed qualifications and consulting experience, competencies in the fields of workplace design, experience with agile methods and client references, followed by an online learning platform with a final examination. Those who passed receive an authorisation certificate and the INQA coach badge for 2026/2027. Only with both may a coach accept INQA Coaching vouchers.
What stays the same: the funding conditions
- 80% subsidy, 20% own contribution
- up to 12 consulting days at a maximum of €1,200 net per day
- duration: up to 7 months
- for companies with fewer than 250 employees, at least one full-time position subject to social insurance, at least two years in business, no more than €50 million annual turnover (or €43 million balance sheet total), and registered office and place of work in Germany
The route is unchanged as well: you discuss your project with us first – we clarify whether INQA Coaching fits and prepare you for the free initial consultation at a regional INQA advisory centre (IBS). It assesses eligibility and issues the INQA Coaching voucher. With the voucher an authorised coach delivers the coaching in your organisation – participative, in iterations, with a binding action plan as the result.
How to recognise an authorised coach
Ask to see two things: the current authorisation certificate with the coach ID and the badge "Autorisierter INQA-Coach 2026–2027". In addition, inqa.de maintains a map of INQA coaches (in German) that you can search by region and focus.
At Qualitax both consultants are authorised: Ulrich Reuther (coach ID IC2608940, authorised on 22 September 2026) and Wolfram Löbnitz (coach ID IC2361337). Profiles on inqa.de: Ulrich Reuther · Wolfram Löbnitz (map of INQA coaches, German). You can therefore use your INQA Coaching voucher with us – for example for digitalisation and AI projects that need to take your people along.
What you can do now
If you have a project that concerns processes, leadership, skills or the workplace of the future: take the funding check (two minutes, no obligation) or book a free initial consultation. We will clarify with you whether INQA Coaching fits and tell you which advisory centre is responsible for you.
As of 23 September 2026. The information provided by the BMAS and the INQA advisory centres is authoritative.
